James McKenzie's professional journey includes rigorous training and workshops with renowned musical theatre industry professionals. His commitment to honing his craft and acquiring new skills has contributed to his versatile abilities as an actor. Some of his skills include a variety of accents including: Manchester, Bolton, Welsh, RP English, RP American and Cockney. He has the basic understanding of roller skating, horse riding and many forms of athletic abilities.

Training & Development

James McKenzie has Completed his Btech National Extended Diploma in 2021 at Emil Dale Academy. He then went on to complete his BA(Hons) at LMA Liverpool, graduating in 2025. Amateur dramatic productions he has performed in as principle roles include Teen Angel in Grease (2018), Young Walsingham in Half a Sixpence (2019) - both with CATS Youth Theatre, Big Jesse in Treasure Island (2019) - with BCMCS. Productions he has performed in while training include his Btech Showcase with Emil Dale Academy (2021), and the role of Ren Mccormack in Footloose with LMA Liverpool (2023).
